Celeste M. Butera

Partner, Rivkin Radler

As part of the firm's Insurance and Coverage Litigation andIntellectual Property practice groups, Butera focuses on litigatingintellectual property disputes. A specialist in trademark,copyright, domain name and cyber-piracy disputes, she representsclients in proceedings before the Patent and Trademark Office; shealso counsels clients and litigates Internet law, as well asbusiness torts and related liabilities. Butera was ranked among LongIsland Business News' "50 Under 40 Class of Rising Stars" in 2001.

William P. Laino

Partner, Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz

Named partner last year, Laino is a commercial litigator whosespecialties include shareholder and partnership disputes, contractclaims and construction law. He also has experience in financingtransactions, including aircraft sales and leases. Laino is admittedto practice in New York and admitted to practice before the UnitedStates District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts, andthe U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is also anarbitrator for the NASD, formerly the National Association ofSecurities Dealers.

A partner in the Compliance and White Collar Defense, Health Careand HIPAA Compliance practices, Martinez defends clients incriminal, civil and regulatory government actions. Her clientsinclude for-profit and not-for-profit skilled nursing facilities,hospitals, home health agencies, physicians and other providers. Shehas written articles for the New York Health Law Update and the NewYork State Bar Association's Health Law Journal. Before joiningGarfunkel, Wild in 1998, she was an assistant district attorney inthe Kings County District Attorney's Office.

Dennis C. O'Rourke

In 2006, O'Rourke joined the firm's Corporate/Securities, Mergersand Acquisitions Practice Group as of counsel, after running acorporate consulting practice for public companies and privatecompanies going public. Before that, he was a partner at RuskinMoscou Faltischek P.C., where he represented issuers andunderwriters in initial public offerings, secondary offerings,private placements and mergers and acquisitions. After graduatingfrom the United States Naval Academy in 1989, O'Rourke earned hislaw degree from the Hofstra University School of Law.
